I’m focused on creating exceptional dogs that are well-socialized, have excellent temperaments, and are healthy, all while maintaining breed standards. I am a mom to both my human son and my fur-babies, devoted to breeding quality English Springer Spaniels with care and integrity. A lifelong dog-lover, I’ve watched these affectionate, spirited dogs enrich our family with companionship, laughter, and loyalty. My experience as a breeder is grounded in nurturing healthy temperaments, strong family bonds, and the kind of beauty that reflects good breeding and attentive care. About Erica

I've been fortunate enough to have grown up surrounded by dogs throughout my life. As my mom bred chows when I was younger, we were always blessed with dogs ranging from chows to rottweilers. When I moved to Michigan, I knew I wanted a dog for our family, but I was unsure of the perfect breed. Luckily, a friend of a friend had a litter of puppies, and they were springers - I instantly fell in love with them. We adopted the last stunning Liver/White Tri of the litter and named him Dozer. He was truly an extraordinary dog, one of those rare gems that only come around once in a lifetime. After losing Dozer, it took me several years to even consider getting another dog, but I knew I wanted to bring another Springer into our family because of their exceptional intelligence, loyalty, and loving nature.

I initiated a breeding program for English Springer Spaniels, drawn to their exceptional adaptability and eagerness to please, which renders them exemplary working dogs for hunting, agility, or active family companionship. Their outstanding intelligence, high energy, and affectionate nature resonated profoundly with me, motivating me to contribute to the preservation and advancement of this breed. Through meticulous selection of breeding pairs with robust lineage and remarkable traits, I strive to produce healthy, well-rounded Springer Spaniels capable of thriving in diverse lifestyles, thereby fostering a brighter future for this remarkable breed.

Why Erica Started Breeding

Holding my mom’s 1990s photo — her proud smile beside a dignified Chow Chow — I felt grief and gratitude together. Her death has been a raw ache, but finding her AKC papers and breeding notes was like finding a map she left; her careful, loving voice came through every detail. Those yellowed forms and the photo make her whole to me again — playful, meticulous, and devoted — and sharing them now, thirty years later, turns loss into a legacy.
